About

This Bridgeport, Connecticut native graduated from the University of Connecticut(UCONN) with a Bachelors Degree in English Literature. An avid writer since the age of seven, he never embraced the street-life that was so close to his doorstep and thanks to hardworking parents and goals of their own, he and his nine siblings were given the game-plan to both survive and chase their dreams. The retired case worker from the State of Connecticut Department of Social Services has now self published five novels with Amazon, including two with the former Createspace. His first two novels, YELLOW MILL RIVER and SILENT CRY: the Dirty Version were gritty-gutty street novels while his third work, THE FAMILY THAT PARTIED TOO HARD is about families trying to thrive and survive with a twist of humor. While THE BLACK MARCHETTI allowed Carl to resort back to his comfort zone of writing street novels, ELITE TIGERS is about a baseball team during the Negro League days before Black players were allowed to play in the major leagues.
